One-Pan Chicken with Creamy Buttered Noodles

Need a quick and satisfying dinner with minimal cleanup? This one-pan meal combines tender chicken with rich, buttery noodles in a creamy Parmesan sauce—perfect for busy nights!

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then sear for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

2. Prepare the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.

3. Cook the Noodles: Stir in the egg noodles, cover, and let them simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are tender and absorb the flavors.

4. Make It Creamy: Reduce the heat to low, then add the butter and Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

5. Finish & Serve: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, letting it warm for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot, spooning extra sauce over the top for maximum flavor.
