Ingredients:
500 g cabbage, shredded
2 onions, finely chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
3 eggs
4 tablespoons (60 g) of flour
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Oil, for frying
Instructions:
1. Prepare the cabbage:
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shredded cabbage and cook for 3–5 minutes until slightly tender.
Drain well and press out excess water with a clean kitchen towel.
2. Mix the ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the cooked cabbage, chopped onions, minced garlic, eggs, and flour.
Add salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using). Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
3. Form the patties:
Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a patty with your hands. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
4. Cook the patties:
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Fry the patties for 3–4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.
5. Serve and enjoy:
Serve the cabbage patties warm with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of salad.
