Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake

Ingredients:

Cake Batter:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter

Cinnamon Filling:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened (2 sticks)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts or pecans)

Glaze:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4–5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with oil or cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the Batter:
    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
    Add the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
    Mix in the melted butter until the batter is smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  3. Make the Cinnamon Filling:
    In a separate bowl, mix the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts (if using).
    Drop spoonfuls of this mixture evenly over the cake batter.
  4. Create the Swirl Effect:
    Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
  5. Bake the Cake:
    Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  6. Prepare the Glaze:
    While the cake is baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. Add the Finishing Touch:
    Once the cake is out of the oven, drizzle the glaze over the warm cake.
  8. Serve and Enjoy:
    Let the cake cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
