Creamy Garlic Chicken with Pasta Recipe

 

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

Salt and black pepper (to taste)

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

8 oz (225 g) pasta of your choice (e.g., fettuccine, linguine, or penne)

Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions:

1. Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Season the Chicken:

In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this seasoning mixture onto both sides of the chicken breasts.

3. Sear the Chicken:

Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

4. Prepare the Garlic Sauce:

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan

Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened (about 3-4 minutes).

5. Combine and Serve

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the creamy garlic sauce over them. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to warm the chicken through.

Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the sauce or serve it on the side.

6. Garnish and Enjoy:

Garnish with chopped parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
