
INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:
1 Cup.Of butter – melted.
1/2 Cup.Of brown sugar packed.
2 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.
3 Cups.Of quick oats.
1 Cup.Of semisweet chocolate chips.
1/2 Cup.Of creamy peanut butter.

PREPARATION:
Step 1
Prepare a baking dish that is 8 inches by 8 inches square and line it with parchment paper or foil. If using foil gently grease it and put it aside.
Step 2
Put the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave or use a double boiler on the stovetop to melt them then put them aside after they are melted.
Step 3
In a large saucepan set over medium heat melt the butter as the brown sugar is stirred in.
Step 4
Reduce the heat to a low setting. Stir in vanilla. Mix with some oats. Keep stirring while cooking for another two to three minutes.
Step 5
Put half of the oatmeal mixture into the dish you’ve prepared and pack it down firmly with your hands.
Step 6
Add three-quarters of the chocolate peanut butter mixture and then spread it over the top in an even layer using a spatula.
Step 7
Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top in a light and even layer then press it down into position. Make sure that the oat mixture covers the whole surface of the topping.
Step 8
Using a drizzler cover the top with the leftover chocolate peanut butter mixture.
Step 9
Place in the refrigerator and let to chill for at least three to four hours or perhaps overnight until the chocolate has fully hardened. Slice & enjoy!
