Ingredients
°6 slices bacon.
°A large head of cabbage, I removed the core and shredded it.
°2 minced garlic cloves.
°1 onion cut into cubes.
°1 t of salt.
°1 t ground black pepper.
°1/2 t of onion powder.
°1/2 t of garlic powder.
°1/2 t paprika.
°Carrot, but optional
Preparation
Step 1:
In skillet, sauté the bacon on medium heat to crispy and fried.
Step 2:
To rinse, I chop up the bacon and place it on paper towels. I cut it into crumbs.
Step 3:
I stir garlic and onion to bacon fat and cooked in a skillet, stir constantly, for about 5 minutes, until soft.
The fourth step:
Then I easy added cabbage and continued to cook for other ten minutes
Fifth step:
To steam the cabbage, I added bacon crumbs on top, 1/2 cup water as needed, salt and pepper to taste, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika.
Sixth step:
Stirred, lowered heat and cooked for a few more minutes, or until liquid evaporated, continuing to stir at frequent intervals.
Seventh step:
If necessary, I tasted and re-seasoned it, and immediately served it.
Remember, you have some carrots in the batter, which adds something special to the dish.
