Philly Cheesesteak Crescent Ring Recipe

Ingredients:

1 tbsp olive oil

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 lb thinly sliced beef steak

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

2 cans crescent roll dough

Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

2. Cook Vegetables:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized.

3. Cook Beef:

Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add the thinly sliced beef steak to the empty space, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for 3-5 minutes until browned. Mix in Worcestershire sauce, then stir the beef and vegetables together.

4. Prepare Crescent Ring:

Arrange the crescent roll dough on the lined baking sheet in a circle shape. Overlap the wide ends of the triangles to create a ring, leaving a circle in the center.

5. Fill and Wrap:

Spread the beef and vegetable mixture evenly over the wide ends of the dough. Sprinkle shredded provolone cheese on top. Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling, tucking them underneath to seal the ring.

6. Bake:

Bake the crescent ring in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and fully cooked.

7. Garnish and Serve:

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm. Slice into pieces for easy sharing.
