Tips and Variations

You have the option to use spicy salsa or include sliced jalapeño into the meat mixture for those who like a little heat. Substituting ground chicken or turkey is a great way to save calories and satisfy those who don’t eat beef. Choose reduced-fat cheese, baked Doritos, and low-fat sour cream to make it a little healthier. To boost the nutritional profile without sacrificing flavor, try adding extra vegetables like maize or bell peppers to the mixture.
