Garlic Shrimp Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed
  • 1 lb spaghetti (adjust as needed)
  • 6-8 cloves garlic, minced (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ cup butter
  • Olive oil (about 3 drizzles)
  • Italian seasoning, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh herbs, such as parsley or basil, to taste

Instructions:

1. Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. For extra flavor, add a drizzle of olive oil and some fresh herbs to the boiling water. Before draining, reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then set the drained pasta aside.

2. Prep the Shrimp:
While the pasta is cooking, rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.

3. Cook the Shrimp:
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and curl slightly.
