Easy Homemade Crepes Recipe

Crepes are a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. They are thin, light, and can be filled with a variety of sweet or savory ingredients. This simple recipe requires just a few basic ingredients and a little patience to create perfect crepes every time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • A few drops of vanilla essence
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Wet Ingredients:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the milk, egg, vanilla essence, sugar, and oil. Whisk everything together until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
  2. Sift the Dry Ingredients:
    In a separate bowl, sift the flour and salt together. This step helps prevent lumps in the batter and ensures a smooth consistency.
  3. Mix the Batter:
    Gradually pour the wet mixture into the bowl of sifted flour, stirring continuously with a whisk or a spatula. Keep mixing until the batter becomes thin and smooth, without any lumps. If needed, you can use a blender for a completely lump-free batter.
  4. Let the Batter Rest:
