Ingredients:
For the Chicken Tenders:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Oil for frying
For the Honey Mustard Dip:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp lemon juice (optional for tanginess)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Chicken Tenders:
Place flour in one bowl.
In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
In a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
2. Coat the Chicken:
Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and coat it thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
3. Fry the Chicken:
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Fry chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
4. Make the Honey Mustard Dip:
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice.
5. Serve:
Serve the crispy chicken tenders hot with the honey mustard dip on the side.
