Ingredients:
- 2 salmon fillets, cut into chunks
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. - Sear the Salmon:
Season the salmon pieces with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Sear the salmon for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside. - Prepare the Creamy Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until the sauce is smooth and well combined. - Combine Everything:
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Gently place the seared salmon on top. - Serve:
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm. Enjoy!
