Classic Dill Pickle Macaroni Salad

 

A tangy and creamy macaroni salad with a dill pickle twist!

 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice
  • 1 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

 

1. Cook the macaroni:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente.

Drain and rinse with cold water, then let it cool completely.

2. Prepare the dressing:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and pickle juice until smooth and creamy.

3. Combine the ingredients:

Add the cooked macaroni, chopped dill pickles, red onion, and fresh dill to the dressing. Toss gently until well combined.

4. Season and chill:

Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Tips:

For extra crunch, add diced celery or a handful of chopped pickled jalapeƱos.

Serve chilled as a side dish for barbecues, picnics, or potlucks!
