Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). - Prepare the Beef Mixture:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart as it browns.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is soft and translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
- Stir in the marinara or pizza sauce, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes to develop the flavors and slightly thicken the sauce.
- Cook the Pasta:
- While the beef sauce simmers, cook the lasagna noodles or pasta according to package instructions.

- In a large baking dish, start with a layer of pasta at the bottom.
- Add a portion of the beef sauce on top.
- Spread a layer of ricotta or cottage cheese, followed by a mix of mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses.
- Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
- Bake:
