Strawberry Cheesecake Nachos – A Sweet Twist on a Classic Snack

Ingredients

For the Cinnamon Sugar Chips:

  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Creamy Cheesecake Dip:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream or whipped topping

For the Strawberry Sauce:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

Step 1: Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush both sides of each tortilla with the melted butter.
  3. In a small bowl, stir together the cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously on both sides of the tortillas.
  5. Slice each tortilla into triangles and lay them flat on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until they’re golden and crisp. Allow them to cool completely before serving.

Step 2: Cheesecake Dip

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
  3. Chill the dip in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve.

Step 3: Strawberry Topping

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the strawberry jam and water over medium heat, stirring until the mixture becomes smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and gently toss the sliced strawberries in the warm jam. Let it cool slightly before using.

Step 4: Build Your Dessert Nachos

  • Spread the crispy tortilla chips on a large platter.
  • Serve the cheesecake dip and strawberry topping in separate bowls for dipping, or drizzle them over the chips for a fun presentation.
