Ingredients:
- 14 oz of dulce de leche (about 400 grams)
- 1 ¾ cups of heavy cream (around 400 ml)
- 2 packs of Maria cookies
Instructions:
- Begin by chilling your heavy cream. Once it’s cold, pour it into a bowl and beat it with a mixer until it thickens, but be careful not to form peaks.
- Add the dulce de leche to the whipped cream and continue mixing until the cream forms stiff peaks.
- In a dessert dish, start by spreading a thin layer of the whipped cream and dulce de leche mixture as the base.
- Then, layer the Maria cookies on top of the cream.
- Continue layering, alternating between the whipped cream mixture and cookies, until all the ingredients are used up, ending with a top layer of the whipped cream mixture.
- For the finishing touch, sprinkle coarsely crushed Maria cookies over the top.
- Place the dessert in the refrigerator and chill for at least 3 hours, allowing the flavors to blend and the dessert to firm up.
Enjoy your delicious frozen treat!
